Write Your First Song
To tell a good story, we need contrast.
Tension and the resolution of tension are what make a music captivating.
Activity: Tell your story through a sequence of chords
Step 1: Write down your moods
Step 2: Click on the piano, then find and press at least 3 notes together to represent Mood I
(Tip: Pay attnetion to frequency ratio and tension)
Step 3: Record the 3 notes by typing them inside {} into the text box here (Tip: Duplicate the same chord multiple times can amplify emotion)
Step 4: Repeat step 2-3 until you record all you moods as notes in the above text box, hit the "Loop" button above to hear your creation looping! (Tip: You can add space bar in between to change the rhythm)
